If you love restaurant-style Honey Mustard Poppy Seed Dressing, you will love this copycat recipe! It tastes just like that served at a major chain restaurant. You won’t be able to tell the difference. This sauce is so addicting! Serve with my homemade parmesan chicken strips or as a coleslaw sauce. This is one of my favorite sauces to make and it’s so easy!
Ingredients
Please check for sensitivities and allergies before trying this recipe.
2 ¼ T White Sugar
¾ T Poppy Seeds
1 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 T White Vinegar
1 T Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
1 1/2 T Honey
2/3 cup Mayonnaise 1 T French’s Mustard
Instructions:
Measure out and combine all ingredients in a bowl. I like to chill for ½ hour just to let the flavors combine properly. If you need to serve immediately though, then you can do so and it will still taste great.
Serve as a dipping sauce with your favorite chicken strips or drizzle over salad.
Alternatively use as a sauce for making coleslaw, combine with almonds or other nuts (check allergies), dried cranberries and coleslaw mix. My coleslaw base recipe is found here.
Serves 3-4 people for one meal. Multiply recipe for larger servings.
Refrigerate any remaining sauce.
Enjoy!
