I am enjoying collecting vintage and antique ironstone so much I just had to create another display! This time it will be in my 1950’s rock maple hutch that I bought a few months ago. I am loving the versatility of this hutch as I can display so many different collections in it and they all go well with the soft wood color. Here is my latest white vintage ironstone display!

I have been building my white ironstone collection for a couple years now. I still have quite the variety of new and old pieces, but I have been focusing on finding so new ‘old’ pieces that are antique ironstone. Recently I found this huge white ironstone platter, which I believe is antique when I see all the crazing on it. It goes perfectly at the top of my display. It is a Myott & Sons England platter and definitely old.

On another thrifting trip, I found these two smaller oval platters with the lovely scalloped edging. They are in a creamier white color and have so much character. The marking on the back shows:

Since my last ironstone display I also purchased this white ironstone pudding bowl.

Another great find was this cute white and gold rooster!

I am enjoying creating mini collections and I originally found a set of salt and pepper shakers in this pattern and shape. I didn’t know the pattern and hadn’t had time to take a look for it. A couple months later, I found this creamer and thought it kind of matched, so I bought it. Another 2 weeks later, I found the matching sugar bowl!!! Now I was excited. So I looked up the pattern and found out that it is Johnson Bros Heritage pattern.

On another trip I found these plates: Okay, now I know what I am looking for I can keep my eye out. I don’t have a plain white set of dishes, but it looks like now I am building my collection of Johnson Bros Heritage dishes 🙂
Here is my new display with all these pieces incorporated. I will be adding my easter touches to this display in the next few days. Hope you enjoy!
