My First Blue and White

So funny, I didn’t even know that Blue and White was officially a thing. Then I realized that the decorating I was doing in our front room was starting to look a lot like a theme! Keep reading and you will find my link to my first blue and white display!

Anyway, I have posted a few photos of what it looks like after the original staging, and then as I was playing around with my decor 🙂

Oh and by the way our house just sold! Here are a few photos of the decor. The previous photo and the one below are of our front room after it was staged.

My first blue and white

In the last week, I started playing around with my assortment of antique china and collectibles. I realized I had more of these lovely ironstone and blue porcelain) than I thought.

Then I started amalgamating and putting things together in a display. Step 1 was the photo below.

The final result is the next photo, not bad for my first attempt! You can tell I am not a professional decorator, but I love playing around and trying different things. I am always picking up different finds at thrift shops, garage sales and online markets. Although lately I have been watching for more blue willow, which I still don’t have but would like to get a few pieces.

I could probably tweak it a bit more. Let me know what you think and what else should I do?

Since writing this post on my first Blue and White display, I have added two more blue and white Displays: My (Second) Blue and White and My Latest Blue and White Display! I have even added one more after that as I collect more blue willow and ironstone. Hope you like them!
