My latest Vintage St. Patrick’s Day Display is what’s going on in our house with lots of leprechauns, shamrocks and green vintage treasures! I have been keeping my eye open for a few weeks now as stores and markets put out their green vintage items for thrifting fun! I have lots of vintage St. Patrick’s Day Decor to show you 🙂
I have two displays going this year, firstly a small display which I put together after my thifting haul:
The second is almost ready so please check back in another day for my large green vintage display which will be transformed into a St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza!
St. Patrick’s Day Thrifting Fun
Here are a few of the items I have found over the past few weeks. I am about to go pick up some shamrock salt and pepper shakers this morning, so those will be added to my large display.
This picture shows the uranium glass juicer and salt and pepper shaker I found last summer. I recently thrifted the leprechaun figurine with the Irish saying:
“May you be in heaven an hour before the devil knows you’re dead“
So cute!
The Colclough teacup and saucer has the green ivy pattern which is just perfect for the vintage St. Patrick’s Day display.
I have added my grandmother’s green doily as a backdrop. It works so well and adds to the look!
The green depression glass has a lovely pattern and is a great vintage find.
The vintage greeting card above for St. Patrick’s Day says:
“Top of the Morning to both of you” with the tiny little leprechaun in the corner and the lovely pastural view of an Irish countryside farm.
This picture above shows the cute little Shamrock bear figurine with his Pot of gold…so sweet! He is standing on the stack of green antiquarian books.
I found this shamrock scarf for St. Patrick’s Day and plan to wear it if we get a chance to go to the pub for a pint or two!
The vintage trinket plate behind has the same Irish saying as mentioned above.
On the right side of the display is this green shamrock plate!
A bit closer view of this Belleek like plate, which has no markings but certainly looks like a Beeleek. I am going to have to investigate this one more, but I was happy to find this thrifting!
In front of that is the little Irish looking boy figurine. Again so cute with his little cap. I added the shamrock to his signpost 🙂
The Full Display (Small Version)
Here is the full display of this smaller version. Large version coming very soon!!!
Large Vintage St. Patrick’s Day Display
It’s ready, and I have been so busy it took a couple days for me to get it posted. Hope you like this larger display with even more new items that I found in the last couple days.
Green Vintage St. Patrick’s Day items are hard to find but I recently found these cute salt and pepper shakers with Irish sayings on them:
The one on the left as the same saying as the plate and figurine above. But the one on the right has the following Irish saying:
“May the good Lord take a liking to you but not too soon“
There’s that lovely shamrock scarf that I am definitely wearing on St. Patrick’s Day!
Below is an green Irish tin, which I found at a local thrift store. It has 3 CD’s of Irish tunes! Perfect for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. I grew up with the Irish Rover’s music, so it’s fun to hear some good Irish jigs and other favorites.
Below another view of the full display. I am starting to enjoy this display with all the bright green color and those shamrocks!
This vintage plate was such a find and is a great centerpiece for the display.
Here is the full display, hope you like it!
