Hello! These are my best and easy home cooking recipes from growing up on the farm and other family favorites. I am not a professional chef or cook. These are tried and true recipes based on my own recipes that I have been making for years and a few new favorites.

My style of cooking is pretty laid back and usually involves tried and true recipes that I have been making for years! I was raised on home cooking in the Prairies, so that is what I feel the most comfortable with. Although, I do like to experiment once in a while, e.g. my Ebi Yakisoba recipe, which turned out fantastic, especially if you like hoisin sauce. Most of my recipes are traditional home cooking such as Caesar Salad, Lasagna, Turkey Dinner, Chicken Parmesan, etc.
I have added a few of my more indulgent treats that I like to make on those special occasions, such as the Coquille St. Jacques, and Ebi Yakisoba. These are still very easy to make and so yummy. I have added my Beef Bourguignon recipe which I have been making for years!
Now that I am retired, I have more time to try out some of my family and researched recipes from my finnish heritage. I am really enjoying these and I can’t figure out why I didn’t add more to my regular recipes earlier! I plan to keep adding more of my all-time favorites and hacked recipes!
Anyway, apparently my recipe pages don’t come up as easily in searches, so I have repeated the index here with a tag for each recipe. Hopefully that will help folks find my recipes more easily on the big network in the sky!
