I hope everyone has a Happy Mother’s Day this year and that we can all take the time to reflect and enjoy time with our mothers or at least with our treasured memories of her. Mother’s Day Thoughts and Poem
For this year, I have created a new Mother’s Day vintage vignette. Here are a couple more photos with a link to the latest YouTube video at the end.
There are a few heirloom pieces from my mother, the Mother Day’s Poem plate, and one of the flower posy’s, the porcelain swan and the lovely crystal vase.
As well the embroidery purse was my great aunt’s. The reddish pink hues of the flowers in the vase, the plate and the teacup…even the posy’s are lovely together.

Some of these items can be easily found at used book stores or other vintage shops and make a lovely gift idea. You could serve her a tea or breakfast on a tray with a flower posy or fresh flowers in a small vase. She will feel special on her day!
