It’s springtime on Vancouver Island and we are already starting to enjoy the warmer weather, lighter brighter days and flowers starting to bloom. Sounds like its time for a yellow vintage tea party or yellow afternoon tea! I started collecting yellow tea cups, plates and sauces as I had a couple of heirloom items that had yellow roses on them. They were just so gorgeous! So here is my latest vintage porcelain display with some new and old finds, as well as yellow porcelain figurines and lots of birds. There’s alot of activity here. Hope you like it!
On one of my thrifting trips, I found the Royal Albert Tea Rose patterned teacups and plates, recently as it matched a sugar and creamer set that I had. I seem to always find matching pieces when I am looking for the same color 🙂
The birds are abundant and I am enjoying the porcelain painted birds in the top left corner. They seem to be busily chirping their merry tunes.
Lower right corner has these Tea Rose patterned dishes and more birds building their nest 🙂
Above that Belle is looking onward keeping an eye over everything, while a little kitten sleeps on her pillow.
The teapots await their duties elegantly.
And the Hummel children play and hum a song while they chatter to each other.
The rooster crows that it is almost time for feeding.
And more children play amongst the flowers…
All is well in the magical land of yellow roses and lovely white and yellow china. It’s definitely time for a yellow afternoon tea party.
